Absinthe’s Richard Curson Smith has been commissioned to write a pilot for Future Days, his drama series from a story by JG Ballard. It’s a timely tale about mass resettlement and internment on a Mediterranean island. Richard originally developed the project with Ballard himself, before his death. Unfortunately the world is now catching up with JGB’s unique, dystopian vision. Absinthe will co-produce the series with Spain’s Mediapro Studio .
