Leslie Asako Gladsjo

Emmy and Peabody winning filmmaker Leslie Asako Gladsjo will direct Josephine Baker and the Rainbow Tribe, Absinthe’s feature documentary about the 12 children of different races adopted by African American icon Josephine Baker in the 1950s and 60s. Filming began with Josephine’s adopted children at the time of their mother’s induction into the Pantheon in Paris, led by President Macron; the highest honour the French state can bestow.
